1. Kim had a hot minute of fame (no fortune) portraying Maria in a college performance of West Side Story… an honor and passion for sure, giving her treasured memories with special people to last a lifetime.
2. A church school teacher and creator of a spirited group called “The Peace Path,” Kim has been writing about her work with the kids for 10 years. One day that book will get finished.
3. When her puppy was small, Kim taught Penny Lane the colors of the rainbow. The small Big Bird toy was named “Yellow.” The frog was named “Green,” etc. The success lasted until Penny Lane ate all of her colors.
4. Recently, in the NBS studio audience of The Tonight Show, laughing out loud throughout the show’s opening dialogue, Kim and her family were all surprised when Jimmy Fallon pointed to her in between jokes and said, “Great laugh…”
