Most Expensive Homes in the East

No sun-drenched olive trees or private parking palaces here, but the East’s priciest homes are luxurious in their own right. From entire peninsulas in the coveted Hamptons to skyscraper views from New York’s most regal penthouses, check out the region’s most expensive listings on Zillow.

$140 million

undisclosed address - East Hampton, NY

With a median home value over $3 million, East Hampton real estate doesn’t come cheap. This 1930s gem was renovated by Peter Marino (aka “the leather daddy of luxury”) but it’s biggest selling point is the land, which spans a quarter of a mile on the Georgica Pond with panoramic ocean views. When it hit the market last fall, the property became the most expensive in the region and the second-priciest in the country. Peter M. Turino of Brown Harris Stevens holds the listing.

$120 million

12-16 E 62nd St, Manhattan, NY

Celebrity Prom Dresses

Easily mistaken for 12 E 69th Street, this Manhattan listing boasts three townhomes with 30,000+ square feet of combined living space and 11 terraces. Perhaps most impressive is the property’s 73 feet of frontage on one of the most coveted blocks of the Upper East Side — just steps from Fifth Ave and Central Park. The listing agents are Sabrina Saltiel and Raphael De Niro of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
