Materials:

Fabric Scissors
Needle
Thread
Filler of your choice (such as rice, wheat, barley, oats, or flaxseed)
Essential oil (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cut fabric into two equal-sized shapes, with the size based on your intent. (For example, a heating pad for hands would be smaller than one used for headaches.)Homemade Heating Pad, Julie & Co. Realty
  2. Lay the shapes on top of each other with the print sides together, and pin in place. Sew around the edges, leaving a one- to two-inch opening.
  3. Flip the fabric, turning it outside in so that the print side now faces out on both sides.
